I was using HWmonitor... came up with random idea to try to lower GPU temperature by software Tweaks.

I went to Personalize (right click desktop)> Window Color & Appearance.

Opened Appearance settings & put my comp on Windows Standard.

so now it looks like windows 98.

but the cool part is yet to come...

the GPU + CPU temperatures dropped .

    Before:

    CPU: core1: 56 Degree Celsius; Core2: 55 Degree Celsius
    GPU: 76 Degree Celsius

    After:

    CPU: Core1: 51 Degree Celsius, Core2: 50 Degree Celsius
    GPU: 71 Degree Celsius.

U see.. AMD's are sooo bloody hotter than Intel...even the IGP is so Hot.
I am not so amused with my AMD based laptop anymore.

    Anyone wanna buy? :p

Yea, Aero is one of the main reasons that Vista uses the GPU for. I am fine with it,it looks nicer.
Although lower temps are always a nice thing to have.
