I am turning off auto update. That is, until they add an option that "never install this update"
-
-
They do not have 'inform me but do not download' like in XP?
Regards
Still using XP -
Just uncheck the checkbox on the left side and press install. And the reason why its telling you to install that is because you are using and unsigned driver and I assume thats the newest version of the signed drivers.

I don't know why people like the OP even run Windows if they hate Microsoft so much. Doesn't make sense.
-
you can right click and also hide the update too
-
-
Because it's alot easier to replace your computer's OS than to uproot yourself and your entire family and move somewhere else.
-
Is the Driver Date on your Properties window the actual date of the driver or the date it was installed...or even the date you installed windows?
I usually look at the Firmware/Version number to make my decision. -
-
so microsoft asked you if you wanted to install an update thats already been updated with a newer one... whoop-de-freaking-do?
-
Nvidia's site will have the best answers. I reckon they should have the latest drivers instead.
M$, are you telling me to "update"?
