    I am turning off auto update. :mad: That is, until they add an option that "never install this update"

    They do not have 'inform me but do not download' like in XP?

    Just uncheck the checkbox on the left side and press install. And the reason why its telling you to install that is because you are using and unsigned driver and I assume thats the newest version of the signed drivers.

    I don't know why people like the OP even run Windows if they hate Microsoft so much. Doesn't make sense.

    you can right click and also hide the update too

    Because it's alot easier to replace your computer's OS than to uproot yourself and your entire family and move somewhere else.

    Is the Driver Date on your Properties window the actual date of the driver or the date it was installed...or even the date you installed windows?

    I usually look at the Firmware/Version number to make my decision.

    Nvidia's site will have the best answers. I reckon they should have the latest drivers instead.
