Hello,
I am using a Delkin Expresscard 54 UMDA CF Cardreader with Sandisk 8GB Extreme CF Card.
I recently installed Win 7 and inserted the card and card reader into the 54mm ExpressCard slot.. I have had no problems with the previous Windows Vista install -- i was getting about 20mb/s transfer rates. Now I get about 256kb/s transfer rate.
I get a "This device can perform faster" -- The computer thinks this is a USB-attached card reader.
I downloaded the Expresscard 54 card reader driver from Delkin(DDEXP54CF2.exe) but get an error message during install:
"No delkin Expresscard 54 CF adapter found! setup program will terminate!" I don't get this as the CF card shows up on Windows as E: under "Devices with Removeable Storage".
My Lexar UDMA USB card reader works but I need this slot-loaded reader for convenience.
What can I do to resolve this issue?
