    MIDI high CPU usage + high temp

    Whenever I play a midi, my temp goes to 70c with the CPU overloading.

    Any idea what I can do? I recently reformatted my computer, so that might be it?

    Does this happen regardless of what player you use to play the .mid files, or only if you use certain players? Are you using the default Microsoft sound drivers, or did you install any other audio drivers?

    Midi takes up a lot of CPU in general I think...

    You can probably lower the latency somehow and that will help a lot. For ableton live midi stuff my CPU usage is at like 75% with 12ms and 25% with 14ms.
