I just purchased a new laptop. I purchased it with my own money, but it will be used a lot for work. Our company uses Microsoft Office 2003 with the Microsoft 2003 Exchange Server. I want to purchase Office 2007 for my laptop. Will I have any problems when I log onto the exchange server from my laptop or will there be any problems when using documents, spreadsheets, etc. that I create on my laptop on my office computer? In other words, is Office 2007 compatible with 2003?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Just make sure to leave .doc as the default save thing. Not docx. Since many are not computer friendly and know how to download the docx compatibility thing.

Agreed, it is very easy to do this and will save you a lot of hassle.

I have Word 2007 and everyone else at my school has Word 2003.. and if I accidentally save a file as .docx the school's computers don't let me download the compatibility pack due to administrative purposes.
