I just recieved my m30x yesterday, and it came with MS onenote preinstalled. My problem is, that when I run the program, it told me to enter a serial number, which I can't seem to find... Any ideas?

What do u think about one note ? is it helpful at all?

I'm a student , i'm planning to get the m40 by end of the summer when i have enough money. Having a one note included with this laptop is one of , among man, reasons why i want the m40.

My system is too old to run the demo version off the net.

Any feedback about it would be great

It seems pretty nice, but I haven't been able to use it a lot yet. What it does is basically this:

    1) Letting you put text anywhere on the screen (doesn't sound like much, but it's actually pretty nice)
    2) Letting you draw anywhere
    3) Categorizing your notes into folders named after different classes etc.

There are more features like plots(at least I think) and some other things that I haven't looked into.

yeah i really liekd how u can categorize notes and all , its like having a paper notebook. Also the point where there is recognition for hand writing to turn it into text. I thought thats great.
U planning to give it a good test n e time soon? :p , i'd love to know how when someone uses it for real to know if its any good.

The think I like about One Note is the ability to record a meeting and have the audio track in sync with your notes. So when you can't understand why to types or wrtoe something (for tablets), you can hear the audio track that was going on at that time.

with a tablet you get to use the nice handwriting capabilities, but otherwise, you can use all the other functions easily enough. I like it, haven't learned everything about it yet. but its really nice to take notes in for class.
