I created a thread in the looking to buy a notebook forum.

I am planning on buying a netbook soon and was wondering if I can run MS Project on the 1024x600 screen?

should be ok. netbooks arent super powerful so it wont run FAST but it will run ok. and the screen size shouldnt handicap you too much. youll just have to do a lot of scrolling is all. as long as your ok with that, dont worry too much.

if you can afford a lappie with a 13" screen though, i think youd be happier. just food for thought. good luck!

Thanks. I ordered a netbook since it will run project.

I've used 13.3 and have a 14.1 laptop. They are still too bulky. Anything powerful I use my 15.4'' laptop

The question is do you want to run project on that small of a screen. Set your current computer to that resolution and test it out. You should see how it will look. I fret on that program with my 24" 1920x1200 screen, i dont know how you could manage.

I had problems using it on 1280x800, no doubt it will be much harder to use on the small screen.

But I won't actually be using it so much as it is required for a class in the fall.

Much easier for me to draw a schedule up on paper.

Yeah, but you cant easily do all that crazy project time manipulation and organization with paper. I bet you will be fine with it for just a class.
