Does anyone know if MS Virtual PC is actually capable of running Ubuntu, or is it only able to run MS OS's. I tried running it and all I got was this weird screen. Sorry, but I can't seem to take a screen shot while the virtual PC is running

Nope ..... I and most others never got it too run. This is the case with most linux distros. I even tried the MS Virtual PC 2007 and still a no go.

Ubuntu works well on VMWare tho.

    EDIT:
MAYBE THIS LINK WILL HELP ......as it seems this person has got it working ...... http://arcanecode.wordpress.com/2006/12/19/installing-ubuntu-on-virtualpc-step-by-step/ Seems like you need to start in "safe graphics mode”

Let me know if it works.

After I began using VMware, I discovered that it's actually much better. Anyhow, it's nice to hear you've got it working
