I need some urgent help with for my girlfriend. She's currently about to finish her master thesis, using word 2002. We've got a problem with the footnotes. For some reason footnotes are ending up on the next page instead of on the page they are supposed to be.

    For instance:

    Page 29: note 51,52,53 - footnote: 51,52
    Page 30: note 54,55 - footnote: 53,54,55

Obviously, footnote 53 is supposed to be on page 29.
Anyone's got a clue how this problem can be fixed?

    Very much appreciated.

    Two possible things to try:

Put a line break after footnote 53.
Convery footnote 53 to an endnote and then back to a footnote.
