I don't think I've ever seen company advertising not to buy their product but leave it to MS to break new ground.
Above linked MS commercial compares MS office 2019 to MS office 365 and advertises clear winner as Office 365 and basically advising consumers not to buy their product, office 2019.
Thank you MS for smart suggestion, I'm trying my best not to buy your inferior products as much as I can and haven't used MS office for years (using other suites like Libre Office), so what's next, commercial about not using Win10 anymore, maybe Linux instead?

Idc because my school provides office 365 for free lol. The cloud-integration is really nice though. Nowadays given my circumstances I am willing to sacrifice a bit of battery life or performance for cross-device compatibility.Vasudev likes this. -
Maybe I'm paranoid, but I spend hours to stop MS from spying on me, to send my personal files and data to cloud controlled by them somehow seems as counterproductive. I've been still using programs I purchased years ago, from companies that no longer exist, or no longer support their software, case in point MS own media center, which I used as secondary TV DVR, doesn't work anymore, because MS no longer provides online TV listings. So anything relying solely on internet is no go for me and if subscription is better for MS, then it has to be worse for me, consumer?
But that's not even the point, the point is, if company doesn't want to sell some product, stop selling it or price it out of competition (which they did), to actually spend money and make a commercial against own product makes me think, maybe that legalized pot in some states is to blame.Raiderman likes this. -
