I received my GX640 a few days ago and updated adobe and flash. I can't player any flash from any site. i.e. ESPN,local news, CNN,etc. It keeps saying it needs the newer version of adobe flash yet I have it installed. Any suggestions?

    thanks

    uninstall and reinstall flash player.

That's definitely just a software thing you could run into with any laptop. Kind of misleading to label it as a GX640 problem

This is not good to be labeled as a GX640 problem, this should go on OS problems that EVERY Machine has once in a while...

Are you using some kind of AV software that does script blocking or ad blocking software? I use NoScript on my Firefox and it always gives me a message like that unless I allow the script to run. It doesn't mean that Flash isn't installed, it just was not allowed to run. I also suggest upgrading to the 10.1 Beta. It features GPU acceleration for smoother HD playback.

And yeah, this should be in the Windows forum, not the GX640 one.

OK, got it fixed. I uninstalled firefox again and reinstalled. everything is working now. Do't know what the cause was but it works.

    thanks for the input.
