    Hello everyone. i dont know if this is the right forum to post in, but does anyone else have this problem?? eveytime, i close the lcd on my laptop is disconnects from msn, and then when i go back to start it up it dosent allow me to without a reboot. very annyoning. i get no drop down menu to signin, or if i try to open it does not. any ideas?? or if someone can point me into the right direction. i am using a hp pavillion dv6000

    I think your laptop might be going to sleep mode which disconnects everything and its not reconnecting properly when it wakes up even though your clearly conected to the internet.

    Go to MSN > Tools > Options > Connection Tab > Use connection troubleshoot/repair

    or you can try the newer windows live messenger. and for tabbed messaging try msn plus live. and to get rid of the ads use apatch.

    I use the mess.be patch to remove all msn crap along with MSN plus w/ stuff plug 3 addon to make firefox your default browser and make your caps/scroll/num lock keylights blink when someone messages you while in full screen apps.
