    MSN Messenger and Logitech CAM PROBLEMS..HELP!

    my problems are several layers deep...I have Vista-64 and an 8800GTX GPU..Firstly, I can't use MSN messenger...even after I download it, when I try to sign on - it says that it's an old version and wont allow me to sign in...even though it IS the latest version...also, my logitech CAM will not work with any messenger...it is all black once activated....does anyone have any suggestions at all? FYI - I downloaded all necessary drivers for the cam...is it Vista-64 that is causing the ruckus?? I at least want to be able to use MSN messenger! Any help is much appreciated!

    Both msn messenger and webcam works fine on x64.

    What laptop are you using and which version msn did you install

    hmmm..I have a Sager 5793 and I was downloading MSN messenger 8.5.1302 I believe.....

    go to www.mess.be and download the latest version there. Its on the sidebar under "Wanna mess?"

    also download the mess patch, best patch ever...ive been using it for years.

    For now if you really need to go online go to www.ebuddy.net for mobile msn
