Yes, you can. I am sure someone will post a guide or instructions, but I need to get to school. Otherwise, I'll be back in a few hours. :)

Just bear in mind that Hackintoshes aren't legal according to the OSX EULA, even if you buy a copy (as is stressed at the OSX86 Project site). Too bad, really. It's a very nice OS.

Correct - loading Mac OS X is illegal according to Apple's EULA.

If you want a machine to run both OSs, pick up an Intel-based Mac and grab a copy of Apple's Boot Camp. I believe that's the only legal way you can have a machine that runs OS X and XP Home/Pro (no MCE).

My friend has OS X running on his Sony SZ, so you can have OS X on a windows based computer along with XP. He browses these forums often, maybe he'll pass by this post and comment.

I think you should post a sticky thread.
Otherwise I don't think people will stop talking about it..

How many people have been sued for loading Mac OS X on to a x86(doesn't include hacking OSX or pirating)? That's right, 0.

It is illegal according to Apple. Doesn't mean that it would hold in court, there is no precedent regarding this case.

Someone I met from another forum has Windows XP Pro and Mac OX X running on his AMD 64 system. I didn't know that was possible. :p

    www.pearpc.net

Well , you could use pearpc. Its an open source project and it runs MacOSX on top of Windows. OSX86 is iligeal , but running OSX On pearpc is somewhat legal as apple helped us [check out pearpc's mailing list]. They have all the guide there , all you need is OSX Tiger DVD. You could get it from eBay or from your local apple store

THIS I would like to know more about. I'd hate to buy another laptop that has intel if I already have my AMD 64 laptop.
