    Where can I download os x for pc? I want to try using os x before making a decision on an apple comp.

    You can't. You'll have to go to an Apple store and tinker with some computers.

    I always wondered that myself.

    I plan on using a external harddrive to run Linux and was thinking, can I do the same thing with any apple OS? Is there any mod or hardware to do that?

    because apple does not allow you to run osx on nonapple hardware, NBR says 'no-no' to threads like this.
