Hi guys, as you can see from my sig, I'm using two 500GB Momentus XT drives in RAID 0 for a total of 931GB of storage. I've done two partitions on it, one is 700GB and the other 231GB. I'm using Macrium Reflect to make disk images.

Now, I plan to get two 750GB Momentus XTs for Christmas and set them up in RAID 0 as well. My questions is, since Macrium saves the partitions as they are, will it restore the disk image to the new drives leaving unallocated space behind? If so, I'm assuming it's ok to add the resulting free space to my partitions without any data being compromised, is that correct?

Any info would be appreciated, thanks.
