    Hi folks,
Hope you're fine. I have an quite old Macrium Reflect Free installed on my Windows 7 x64 SP1 box. I made a backup file on Windows and created a Rescue CD without USB 3.0 support. Now i understood it's really a pain on the *ss to restore an image with hundreds of GB that taking countless of hours.

Decided to build a new Rescue CD (WinPE 3.1) with USB 3.0 support. My USB 3.0 controller is Fresco Logic ( FLxHCIc) but i'm not ready about the difficulties appear on this link, reported by another user:

There seem to be a solution on Page 2 (post of CelebrexMan), however i'm not sure about placing correct files (inf, cat, sys) to the correct folder to build a new USB 3.0-enabled Rescue CD image:

The files seem to be are those:

Is there anyone here to help me with enabling USB 3.0 support on Macrium Rescue Boot CD just like running on Windows?

An alternative is to connect the HDD to a desktop computer using SATA cables and restore from there.

Unfortunately, i don't have a desktop PC with SATA Mobo. Only IDE.

I just wonder how and if it's straight forward adding my Fresco USB 3.0 controllers to Macrium Boot CD which is extremely time-saver when compared to USB 2.0 speeds.
