I currently use Macromedia Flash 8, Macromedia Dreamweaver 8, and Macromedia Fireworks 8! I recomend these 3 programs to all computer nerds! They are fun, easy to use, and fast.

Just a minor thing -- Adobe bought out Macromedia in 2004 or 2005, so now they're all Adobe-branded. They are good products, though.

And Fireworks will not be around very long either, unfortunately.

I love Dreamweaver 8 too, Gamermatt :D. Its perfect for visual web design (instead of boring hours of hand coding), and beats Frontpage.

But anyone that doesn't make websites will find it totally useless :p.

I'm not worrying too much about whether Adobe will change the quality of the Macromedia products. Adobe itself has good products, so I have confidence in them.

Photoshop will rule the world of photography! :D

Actually, it seems as though the rumors may be wrong, for the moment at least. Adobe's Edge newsletter says that Fireworks 9 is in private beta. Rumors since the merger have been that Photoshop would absorb Fireworks.
