I currently use Macromedia Flash 8, Macromedia Dreamweaver 8, and Macromedia Fireworks 8! I recomend these 3 programs to all computer nerds! They are fun, easy to use, and fast.

Just a minor thing -- Adobe bought out Macromedia in 2004 or 2005, so now they're all Adobe-branded. They are good products, though.
-
And Fireworks will not be around very long either, unfortunately.

I love Dreamweaver 8 too, Gamermatt
. Its perfect for visual web design (instead of boring hours of hand coding), and beats Frontpage.
But anyone that doesn't make websites will find it totally useless
.
I'm not worrying too much about whether Adobe will change the quality of the Macromedia products. Adobe itself has good products, so I have confidence in them.
Photoshop will rule the world of photography!

wait why wont fireworks be around very long?

Actually, it seems as though the rumors may be wrong, for the moment at least. Adobe's Edge newsletter says that Fireworks 9 is in private beta. Rumors since the merger have been that Photoshop would absorb Fireworks.
