Well I used MagicIso with Windows 7 and now my windows explorer crashes every time I go deep into folders in the C drive. I uninstalled MagicIso and MagicDisc, but it's still crashing, windows explorer that is. I've ran ccleaner, but I've had my system restore turned off so I can't system restore back to an earlier time. Any way I can fix without a reformat?

right click MY COMPUTER, choose MANAGE, go to EVENT VIEWER > applications AND system

Look for errors that occured when this occured. report back.

Also, does it occur in safe mode (tap f8 key while booting and choose safe mode)

Application Error has the explorer.exe errors, which I believe is what is crashing, as the time stamps fit.

Faulting application name: explorer.exe, version: 6.1.7000.0, time stamp: 0x49431f06
Faulting module name: unknown, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x00000000
    Exception code: 0xc0000005

Going to try safe mode now, I'll edit post with results.

Safe mode just closes the explorer window. I can move the mouse, just not click. No error messages, just 5 seconds after clicking folder, window closes back to desktop.
