I need to know this pretty fast. I can't find this after some googling. I haven't touched an x64 OS before so yes, these are going to sound pretty damn stupid to some of you.

    1. I know that Win 7 x64 creates 2 Program Files folders; "Program Files" for x64 apps, "Program Files (x86)" for x86 apps. Here's what I want to know: I install all games on their own hard drive, and seeing how that drive won't have those said 2 folders... will the WOW64 x86 emulator be able to distinguish x64 and x86 games? I mean... It doesn't need to be told anything special does it?

    2. Save games that I have on XP x86 should be compatible with the same game's x64 executable right? Like for example, my Crysis save that was written with the x86 executable should work fine with the x64 Crysis executable?

As soon as I get this info, I'm gonna hit order on a 160GB G2 Intel SSD and Win 7 x64. Can't wait!

Note: My apologies if these have been answered somewhere before. I'm just excited and impatient.

The two Program Files folders really have nothing to do with the WOW64 emulation—if you create your own folders to store your executables, WOW64 will step in if needed regardless of where the executables are. As for the saved game data files being interchangeable between x64 and x86 version of Crysis (I didn’t know there were two versions), that would depend on Crysis and has nothing to do with Windows.
