    try different gpu drivers.

or if maya has an own settings app for the gpu settings, try switching from opengl to directx or vise versa (3dsmax has such a tool).

Hold Left-shift and then right click on Maya, choose "Run as Administrator". See if that helps?

Still crashes, it gets to "Initializing Time Slider" when it's loading then crashes. I Have re-installed it twice, but still no luck. =[

Edit, i'll try with different GPU drivers now.

My Maya crash too if I set my CPU and RAM voltage too low. Well, it's on my Desktop I mean.
For my Laptop, it didn't even crash once.

Have your laptop upgrade before? Like changing RAM or CPU or GPU?
