Is it possible to install Windows Media Player 11 onto Windows XP Media Center? Would it screw up the Media Center? Or would be it fine? Thanks.

Perfectly fine. I had it installed in my e1505 and now I'm running on my t60 as we "speak". The MCE part of XP is pretty relaxed. It stays out of the way. If you don't want to use it, don't. It doesn't force itself upon you at all.
