On my lappy (Vista Home Premium), media center crashes when I try to burn a tv show to dvd. The cd burning function works fine, but I can't burn a dvd. I am still able to burn with other programs but for some reason, right after I select "Video DVD", crashes. I spent an hour with "tech support" (if you can ever call it that), and all they told me were dumb things like reinstall the drive, update windows, and dumb stuff. I have no idea what this is. Thanks guys.

Please post a question only once, and in one forum. Thanks.

Sorry, but maybe you could help me with my question as well as move and erase my posts. Thanks

Yes, I did that. Thanks for cooperating.

If your burner works fine with other programs, it isn't a hardware issue at all. Try reinstalling the program that is causing the trouble. That usually works.
