    This OS is driving me up the wall. I find alot of things that are not working well or not at all with this OS.My new Toshiba Satellite p10 see the specs here-

    Is driving me crazy. Is it possiable to go to Windows XP Home edition?I had Home edition on my last Laptop and it did fine.

    you could move to Windows XP Home, but I'm assuming you've got a lot of drivers installed that allow you to control such things as the built-in TV Recorder hardware (I'm assuming the P10 you have comes with that) and you'll have to go hunting for such drivers or just lose that functionality all together. But you could theoretically move to Windows XP Home without any problem if you wipe the hard drive and reinstall the OS.

    A better suggestion would be to partition your hard drive into two (using Partition Magic or some other such software program) then install Windows XP Home on that partition. Then boot to that partition and see how your notebook operates.

    Thanks for the suggestions. I will give a couple of months before doing anything. Supposedly Media Center is based on the PRO version so in theory things should work.
