    Media Center Query

    Hello

    I'm trying to watch a DVD with the Windows Media Center, but it keeps saying, "The video decoder has either mulfunctioned or is not installed"
    The strange thing is that I can watch the dvd with the Windows Media Player.
    So the decoder is installed!

    Can anyone please tell me what can I do?

    it said that I have the correct decoder which is compatible with MCE...

    Does this happen with every DVD? If not, which DVDs cause that error message?

    Those are the updates I was talking about. Have you tried Googling for your error message? There are a ton of hits when I Google for it.
