How do I get my Media Center to record using the S-Video jack?

I can't seem to find the option. So I've been recording using the stander jacks. Not ideal.

    Thanks.

S-Video port is a video out only port. You cannot record from any input.

Seriously! That S__KS! I am very surprised at that. Personally I don't see a need for a S-video out jack.

Man, I'm disappointed. But thanks for letting me know.

Yeah, S-Video is output only, seriously why would you ever need it as input?

(apparently you do, I need it for output... such is life).

Anyway, given that you are on media center presumably you have some other input ports to record on.

S-Video is one of those terrible intermediate formats that caught on for notebooks...my hopes is that HDMI outs start arriving for notebooks in place of S-Video in the near future (2007 ??)

I was just taking a second look at my s jack and I have 2. One say s-video and the second one say output.
So I do have an s-vid input.
I guess I'll have mess around with it some more.

S-Video is much better than the RCA jacks. If you have the choice.
