I just purchased a Dell Inspiron 6000. The operating system works fine (Windows Media Center) but the actual Media Center program repeadetly crashes. During setup when it went to optimize the video it crashed. I managed to get through the setup and Media Center will load and most things will work but when I play a video and try to stop it or go back to the main screen it crashes... Any ideas?

How do I go about reinstalling just the media center itself? I do not want to have to reinstall all of windows just want to get the media center working....

    Thanks for any help.

I would go to Microsofts wesite and download all the updates for Media Center. Also download all the updates for Windows. I believe there was a patch for Media Center to resolve this problem.
