right am having trouble watching TV on the Media Centre, i have Vista Ultimate 64bit it was fine then when i tried changing the channel i got some error message (cant remember what it was) and it had to close. when i reopened it i found that that i cant wait many of the channels as i get the "No TV Signal" error message - but everything is plugged in fine - the only way i can watch a few of the channels is if i select the channel i want to watch, close down media centre and reopen it - but this only works for a couple of channels and none that i like to watch
any idea how to fix this?

Try the following:
-
ArmageddonAsh Mangekyo Sharingan
what will this do?
-
I guess you can verify this way if something got corrupted in your channel list..or at least I thought so when I first read it.
-

im going to try and redo the channels first - if that doesnt work then ill have to look into other ways of fixing it
-
ArmageddonAsh Mangekyo Sharingan
what ever it was resetting up the channels fixed it, still have no idea what coursed it though
-
You mean it's working now? And you did nothing?
-
ArmageddonAsh Mangekyo Sharingan
all i did was go into the setting and re-setup the channels - still not sure what happened though?
-
No idea...I read somewhere that you can get the "No Signal" error when the signal is "weak"..
-
ArmageddonAsh Mangekyo Sharingan
nope thats a doupt as its been perfect for over a month, it has to be something to do with the error that i got but i know what it said, should have read it
-
Yeah you might still have the report in the Event Viewer->Application
