    Media Centre Question

    Right i was wondering is there a way to access some of the features of the Media Centre without having to go into the media. for example say i want to watch TV is there a way to press a icon somewhere and the TV tuner start?

    Unless you are using an application that comes with the tuner, you have to run VMC in order to watch TV. You should check out The Green Button - it's a fantastic Media Center forum.

    It helps if you have a keyboard or remote with the Media Center button. To switch to Live TV, I guess it is a two click process, unless you already have Media Center running.

    the media centre only works with the media centre remote - i have tried using the remote that i got with the laptop but it doesnt work :(
