Ummmm... how do I play a Blu Ray in MPC? When I put the BD into my machine, I open MPC, and whether I go to open file or DVD, it asks me to specify a path, i.e. click through folders on the disc, of which there are many. Doesn't MPC recognise Blu Ray and simply provide you with a "Play" option????

Many media players do not recognize BluRay. When I got my HP Pavillion dv5t laptop I was told that with HP laptops, only HP's Quick Play will play BluRay disks out of the box – otherwise, you need software like Cyberlink Power DVD Ultra - (which is supposedly very good and top rated).

Specifically in regard to MPC, apparently it can play BluRay. Take a look at Google, searching "Media Player Classic" and "Blu Ray" (together) and there are a lot of suggestions as to how to get it to work.

Sure. I can do that too, but the sound quality on PowerDVD is pants.
