So which one is better in your opinion? I like to have music playing in the background while I surf, chat, etc.

Do you guys use windows media center to play music or media player? Or just go with winamp?

I don't have Media Center, but...

Windows Media Player > Winamp > iTunes

EDIT: It kind of depends on what you want though. I like WMP because I like its library browser better than Winamp's or iTunes', and, unlike iTunes, WMP lets me edit my playlist side-by-side with my library view.

But Winamp is better at packing a lot of functionality into only a little bit of screen space. So if you want to set up a playlist and then let it chill in the corner of the screen so it's visible while you're using other windows... then go for Winamp.

I don't use either of those, but since you're asking to choose between those three, definitely Winamp. I have yet to use WMC and think I used WMP once by accident as I didnt have all the associations set right in KMPlayer.
