    Hi,
my Fujitsu n6410 came with a TV Turner and Media Center Software. I'm not too interested in watching TV on my computer but I am interested in recording all my old home videos to DVD.

After finally getting Media Center to capture my VCR I got it to record a 1 hour home movie. However when I tried to play it on my fairly new Sony DVD player and another player I have, it didn't see the disk. What good is that?

Also, I can't seem to find the copy anywhere on my Hard drive when I look for it using "My Computer"?

Last, I would like to edit and splice the movies together, highlights, add music etc. I've done this often in MS Movie Maker, mostly converting my vids to .wmv or .mpegs. However I don't have that software on this laptop and no longer have the disks to copy it on to it.

I thought all this software came with this laptop...... so where do I go from here?

So, does this laptop come with any copying or editing software or do I need to purchase something? If so what would be good?
