I have 2 pdf files. Each file is half a page long. How do I combine them in ONE page? I don't want two pages. I want one page.

    Free software only please.

    That's a nice question actually.. and I couldn't come across anything! :(

But, I think it's easy enough to quickly take a snapshot of each pdf file with the full screen view (of course, zoomed to a level where all contents are visible) and paste into word or irfanview, and make a single page pdf out of it?

Of course, if there is any software that would do this, I would be happy to know as well :)

    Cheers.

Adding to the above, may be you could also try cutting the files (using something like A-PDF page cut or similar) to have just the contents, and then merge them (the cut files) into one using pdfsam (or similar) and then print out as one page (using the printer option of printing two pages in one)..

    Just thinking..

    Cheers.

And... I also came across some info that, some "imposition" software' (apparently freeware' are available) or plugin' do exactly what you want to do... Check it out, if you're interested.

Btw, PDFill seems to do it as well (look at the 'reformat' option!)..

    Thanks Kdawgca :)

download a free software called 'pdf split and merge basic', it will do what the OP wants.

As far as I know, pdfsam (which I mentioned already) merges just pdf documents. But the OP wants to merge two half-page pdf documents into a one page pdf document, which I don't think pdfsam does...

    This is my idea:
    1. convert both pdf to word with AnyBizSoft pdf to word converter(FREE)
    2. copy and paste contents from the second pdf file to the first one.

The advantage of this method is that it's much easier to edit MS word document than a pdf file. And even the words exceed one page, you can ajust the font size and make it only one. ;)
