    Metro apps wont work

    Hey guys im running Windows 8. Legit... and all of a sudden my metro apps dont work anymore... the native weather app. news etc... all crash after clicking.... Ive tried restarting but to no avail........not sure what is going on Windows 8 is beginning to fail me... rofl thx

    If the process in the MS Community thread doesn't work, a couple of other things to look at, Modern UI Apps require UAC, if you've turned that off, re-enable and you can adjust it to a lower setting for you convenience. The other is updating your video driver (or the inverse, if you've recently updated the driver, roll back).

    ended up installing the apps again hopefully this works out
