    Microphone Issure after Downgrade to XP from Vista [HP dv9500t]

    EVERYTHING went fine, except for my microphone. I've tried everything. Nothing seems to have worked at all for finding a solution to getting my mic working. Ive searched. I'm not using conexant and whenever I try to install those drivers, I get an error. Device manager doesn't have any issues with any software. I'm using a 3.5mm Jack for my microphone and I know that the Mic works. ANY help is appreciated.
