Earlier today, Microsoft confirmed that its next operating system, codenamed Windows 7, would in fact be called just that when it hits shelves at some point in the next few years. Good on 'em, I say: a simple, no-nonsense name suggests they're approaching it with a clearer eye than they had cooking up the hypefest that was Vista.

Microsoft failed. Are they doing this to boost the stock market or something.

Would not surprise me If Windows 7 had a rediculous amount of versions.

Is this for real of just a joke?

I highly doubt that will happen but unfortunately it is just as easily possible for MS to do something so stupid.

Haha, that's a good laugh. I'm not sure about the purpose of deleting a random hardware driver to ensure you get the complete gaming experience in Windows 7 Gaming Edition though. Is that to encourage you to buy better replacement hardware? Or to make sure you have the incompatibilites that became a classic part of the gaming experience in Windows Vista?
