    Hello

If I tick off the "Microsoft Office" Common Start Up from the msconfig...what will happen?

    Any experiences?

    THanks for your attention...

    Nothing.
    :)

But if you want more info, then here-
    Microsoft Office
    Osa.exe or Osa9.exe
Application which launches common MS Office components to help speed up the launch of Office programs. It's somewhat of a resource hog, and some users claim there's no difference with or without it but it usually isn't required. Note - if you make use of the Microsoft Office Shortcut Bar outside an office program this application will need to be enabled for it to show.

I disabled that as well as the Adobe Reader quicklaunch thingy from msconfig. The only difference I have seen is that it takes maybe a second or two longer to launch, not a big deal to me. It won't hurt anything though, and you can always reenable them if you aren't happy! :)
