I installed a new SSD on my laptop and went ahead and installed Office 2007 Ultimate. I did not let anything run other than outlook, powerpoint, excel, word, and onenote. This could be the potential problem, since I don't know if I didn't install something that's required for outlook.

Whenever I open outlook, it just stops responding right when I open it. Any help?

    What do you mean by:

You were running them as you installed?

No, I mean during the installation it says if I want to let X feature run... dunno why it says that. Basically didn't let other things such as access install.

Oh I see you only chose those programs to be installed. Is it possible that you chose any other features to not be installed? Under advanced you can choose to run some things from disk or cd.

I would say just uninstall and reinstall and see if that makes a difference.

Ok so it's responsive but it's freezing a lot. I'm going to reinstall.
