Great now I have to check mine for Windows 7 .... I used the Convenience update for a reinstall and so far it is working good. Next is posting of Windows 7 update. The Convenience updates helps a lot in not having to do so much individual updates. I did save all the Windows 7 updates so that helps in reinstall.

    Windows 7x64 Ult Sp1 IE11, FF48
    8 important updates selected, 127.7MB

Looks like 9 security updates totalling 83 MB for Windows 8.1, not counting the Flash Player one nor non-security updates, or the typical malware removal tool. Also have a bunch of Office 2010 updates on my XP machines.

Here's to the end of 21+ years of selectively-installing updates for Windows from Windows Update. Still kind of miss the v6 web site UI, though not its slow speed or IE requirement, and glad it works via non-dial-up connections these days, but going to miss the ability to do a selective Windows update on Windows 6.x.
