Hey - I recently downloaded Microsoft Virtual PC and am now running XP within Vista (this was easier than installing XP in a seperate partition and whatnot). However, I am having issues with the sound, and the mouse feels like it is moving around sluggishly. Has anyone had these issues as well, and is there a solution? I' using an HP Dv2500

I don't know if you did it or not, but you should install the addons for Virtual PC after you set up the VM. You do this by clicking on the Action menu and select Install or Update Virtual Machine Additions.

Good call. I forgot that you can allocate the amount of system ram for the VM. When I was running Vista Host, Xp guest I used 756mb ram for the VM and that left the other 1.25gb for the host...

Thanks a lot for your help! I will definitely use the Virual PC addons. Also, I have 2 gigs of RAM, and I didn't realize I could up the RAM allocated to XP - I'll be sure to do that, also.
