    Hey guys,

I've been having this problem for a while now and I kept forgetting to ask someone. Basically, what's happening is that my Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter isn't working, and when I check it up via Device Manager and go into Properties, it said "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)." I checked for new drivers by using the option given under Properties-->Drivers, it said my drivers we up to date (driver 6.1.7600.16385; Driver date 6/21/2006). Then, I disabled and then enabled the device and now it's saying "This device cannot start. (Code 10)." I checked for new drivers by using the option given under Properties-->Drivers. I haven't touched it after this, and hoping I can get some help from the experts :)

    Thanks in advance.

The virtual wifi driver is provided by the manufacturer of the actual wifi adapter. For example, if you have an Intel Wifi card, when you install the wifi driver, it also installs the virtual wifi driver for that card. You need to go to the manufacturer website for your specific adapter and download the driver from there and install it.

    1)Update your main WiFi Driver
If the Virtual Adapter doesn't appear (Happens on Certain Atheros WiFi)
use this command (Admin Permission on Command Prompt):
    C:\Windows\System32> netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=NameOfNetwork key=StrongPassword
