Thanks for this, i remember a while back they wouldnt even let you download ISO's unless you enter a proper key. And a lot of times they didn't even recognize my genuine retail key. Hope this works.

that's why I posted this because no matter what genuine key I entered, none of them worked, they were retail keys but Micro$h4ft are doing this on purpose to prevent users from enjoying the OS they bought and upgrade to 10.Last edited: May 22, 2016Papusan, toughasnails and bloodhawk like this. -
Very nice. I can't tell you how many times people have been forced to turn to torrents to get an ISO when they have a legitimate license key.

yes and I added this to the NBR Windows 7 Clean Install guide as a lot of times people were asking where to get the ISO from, this is a saviour to us all.Papusan, toughasnails and Ethrem like this. -
I got really ticked off when Microsoft pulled the ISOs from DR as I accidentally wiped out my hard drive that had my 7 and 8.1 ISOs. Hopefully they don't shut this one off too although now that the campaign to get free Windows 10 is ending, it seems unlikely that they will bother.Spartan@HIDevolution likes this.

Well since these links are MSDN links, I would grab them now while I can.
If for any reason you weren't able to in the future, I have the genuine untouched ISOs as well which we can see where to upload them for you.Ethrem likes this. -
Oh I have all the ISOs now. Although honestly I'm happy with Windows 10 now. I know, blasphemy...Papusan and Spartan@HIDevolution like this.

don't let me search for posts youo made a few months earlier
it's time to switch you know, no point in keeping on fighting updates every week and tweaking many things to get the OS to your liking, that and the fact that Windows 7 sucks for NVMe SSDsEthrem likes this. -
I nuked my Windows 10 install on my desktop, did a clean install, disabled all the privacy invasion it let me during the initial setup, then went through and disabled everything I could find in the control panel. I'm fine with some telemetry but I disabled most of the spying (especially the keylogging and such). DWS and ShutUp 10 made a mess of my last install and I was having a ton of issues but its working perfectly now.Spartan@HIDevolution and bloodhawk like this.

Don't forget the new updated hosts file bro:

I don't bother with that stuff. Seriously, hosts files break too much stuff for my tastes. I use ABP and Privacy Badger in Chrome and honestly, Google, Apple, Facebook.. They all already have all my data anyway so I'm not going to to overboard and break things in my machine. I don't use hosts files or AdAway on my Android either. Breaks way too many things. For example, IGN's Deals of the Day links in my email do not work because they run through zdbb. Its just a hassle. There's a point where I'm willing to sacrifice some privacy for convenience.z31fanatic and Spartan@HIDevolution like this.

I hear you, after some testing, I had to omit some of the addresses like officeclient.microsoft.com and apps.skype.com and a few others. I don't understand these people who release these lists, why add addresses which break the functionality of the PC! heh, might as well not use it thenEthrem likes this. -
Windows 10 works around the hosts file for telemetry anyway so it really is just doing nothing but potentially causing you problems down the road. Between AdBlock Plus and Privacy Badger, I have full control over what goes on in my browser whereas a hosts file means I have to go through and figure out what's getting blocked when an app or a site doesn't work and it isn't always obvious.

you are brainwaashing me bro
so shall I use Privacy Badger along side ABP?
I usually don't use such things like when I used the Disconnect Addon, I wasn't able to login to some sites and to me, functionality comes first
Does Privacy Badger neer any special configuration or does it work out of the box?Ethrem likes this. -
It works out of the box. If a site is broken, you can see what is blocked and selectively disable the blocked content but I've found maybe 5 sites that didn't work with it and I've been using it for over a year. It even has a report to developer option when it does break a site. It blocks all the trackers that watch your data (so by default Twitter, Google+, and Facebook, etc buttons are all disabled but clicking them enables them) but its pretty smart about it and only partially blocks ones that are more testy than others.Spartan@HIDevolution likes this.

Contact the app developer not me -
How do I contact them?
-
It says in the app window, that you need to sign in to Volume licensing, to download Enterprise versions. So unless you have an account, you will not be able to download such versions.

Very nice software but there is a goodside to using the media creation tool from microsoft and that is that it allows you make an iso/usb drive with both x64 and x86 versions bundled.
