    Microsoft word in portuguese

    I am buying a computer for my friend in Brazil. I want to load word on it in Portuguese. Any way to do that? The interface has to be in his language not just the page you type.

    Does your friend want 2007 or 2003? I use the portuguese MS word but it's from Portugal, not Brazil. I could give you the link where I bought it from. Some of the words are different but he should understand it.

    I might get him either 2003 or 2007. If 2003 is cheaper I will get it for him. It is actually for my wifes's sister's son. He doesn't know much. They just want word and excel. The Brazil version

    I'll look for the Brazil version. I'm pretty sure when you install Microsoft word you choose your language and it sets up in that language. Just try it and see with an American version. Then all the menus will be in Portuguese. I'm pretty sure. I got my copy in Portugal so you might have to import it.
