I downloaded the 64 Bit drivers.

Will I notice a performance increase with my current setup? (in sig)

Will my normal programs like Office, Windows Live Messenger, Adobe Photoshop work fine?

What are the benfits i'm gaining other than the OS being able to fully utilize my 4 GB RAM?

Your system will utilise the whole 4gb RAM in your system. That is one bonus.

Edit, just read your post again and saw the the 4gb ram bit lol.

Well being able to utilize more than 3.2GB of RAM is a nice advantage. I think it can take up to 6.x Not sure was "x" is though.

Not sure what you do with your system, but being able to utilize more RAM, as you said in the OP, will certainly be beneficial.

64-bit is also a little bit faster regardless of RAM. I think you'll notice. It's not a night-and-day difference though.

Wait... you downloaded the drivers? If your OS isn't 64bit, you won't even be able to install 64bit drivers. You need to install Vista 64bit before the drivers.

I found the 64bit versions to be more stable. They are also inherently more secure. And you will be able to use all your RAM. There really isn't a downside.
