    Missing drivers in Device manager

    I need XP based missing drivers for HP Pavillion DV5 1102TU which came with pre installed Vista basic which i changed to xp.Can someone plz help me to identify which drivers i am missing and link of those drivers.I have attached image file of my device manager window.

    System Configuration : Dual core 2 ghz, 3gb ram, 250 gb sata
    Chipset: Intel GM 4500,Mobile Intel 4 Series Express Chipset Family Graphics
    Graphics : Intel Graphics media accelarator 4500
    Fax/ Modem: Highspeed 56k
    Network card : Ethernet 10/100 BT integrated network ineterface
    wireless connectivity : 802.11 b/g WLAN
    Modem - Arege System HDA Modem
    Sound : IDT

    Right click on each device with the yellow question mark and open up properties, go to Details tab and select Hardware Ids from the drop down. It should display a long string like xxxxx01&VEN_8384&DEV_7616&SUBSYSxxxx ; search for the vendor ID (4 digits after VEN_) and device ID (4 digits after DEV_) in pcidatabase. That should give you detailed information about your device : make, model and in few cases even a link to the manufacturer’s website's download section.

    also check if you have installed the Audio Drivers properly :rolleyes: , Try reinstalling it

    I think the problem is finding the drivers... dv5 exclusivity sold with Vista and all... ;)

    Thanks :) , for all your suggestions and quick responses,i have attached the pics regarding hardware ids.
    I have checked and installed Idt sound driver many times it works properly but shows that its it not installed properly.
    Plz help me to fine out the missing drivers.

    There are so many replies in that thread, just go through them. I’m sure you can find links to all the drivers somewhere in there.
    Look at post #30, also take a look at this site

    First driver is obviously for the sound card.
    A bit of googling for the hardware ID of the second device led me to this thread, where someone says that ENE0100 is an IR receiver, there is a link to the driver in the same thread.
    More googling for the 3rd device led me to this inf file , looks like the finger print reader.

    thanks guys for ur help.

    i am sucessfully finded and installed my 2 drivers which were
    1. IRir remote
    2. Finger print scanner

    but that HDMI audio problem is still there.
    i checked the dv5 there and going to appply there method to install that driver.

    Um, hello... I need help from anyone who can help me solve my problem.. I have checked my device manager but I couldn't find graphics card on the list.. My friend told me that I do have the graphics card but I don't have the driver for it... So is there a website for download the drivers? My PC is an old type model (very, very old) name PRESTIGIO, with the system:

    Microsoft XP professional
    version 2002
    service pack 2

    Intel [R]
    Celeron[R] CPU 1.70 GHz
    1.69GHz, 608 MB of RAM

    Can someone help me overcome this problem?? Please relpy me...

    Oh, dear.. I've got one more problem.. I clicked the local disk icon and I've got an unusual error... I also tried to do disk defragmenter but it also give me an error: "Disk defragmenter could not start"... Can someone help me??
