    Missing msvcr100.dll (seven-32)

    uh, i have window 7-32 at an old imac core 2 duo (white, 1.83, 17")


    everytime i try to run lubbo's fan control (fan control for bootcamp) i have this error saying msvcr100.dll is missing.


    any help?

    For missing DLL files I tend to use this site which works very well (follow the "msvcr100.dll free download" link). Try to place that file in the C:\Windows\System32 folder to see if that makes a difference. Some programs require the DLL file in their root folder too so I would make a copy of the DLL file where the fan control application is to make sure.

    You want to be very careful copying around system libraries of any kind. Windows really want those things 'registered' with the OS (in the registry). About the only way to do this reliably is to get the official runtime installers and click away.

    Look at all the hassles one guy on here had recently with a blown-up .Net v4 installation.
