    Mobility Radeon 9200 drivers

    Any idea if the ATI Catalyst drivers support the Mobility Radeon 9200?If not,are there any alternatives?
    I ask becuse my stock HP drivers only got one update and that was in 2004.And of that time,there were no ATI Catalyst drivers for Mobility Radeon 9200.Help???Please????

    Radeon® X850 series
    Radeon® X800 series
    Radeon® X700 series
    Radeon® X600 series
    Radeon® X550 series
    Radeon® X300 series
    Radeon® 9X00 series
    Radeon® 8500 series
    Radeon® 7X00 series

    Check ati for the the new drivers 6.1.

    Okay.Downloaded.Attempted to install but no dice.On looking at the website I notice the Mobility 9200 isn't on the compatibility list.Are Omega Drivers my only alternative for updated video drivers?

    The latest cats you can use for the mr9200 are the 5.6's. Anything later will not work.

    Although it first says you can use it for 9x00, you guys must be right. 9200 isn't 9x00 for ATI :confused: ? Try Omegas then. I didn't know that.

    I wouldnt recommend Omega, tried to install them yesterday.
    Got the blue screen of death!..shut the laptop down manually and restarted same problem.
    Had to boot in safe mode to uninstall them.
    Then I had to reinstall my normal ATI drivers through my HP drivers and software CD.
    You can take the risk though, I know people for who it has worked so its up to you.
