    Modify System sounds

    so i've purchased new thinkpad e420s ,
    using windows 7 , but loving the apple sound scheme so smooth...
    i've downloaded the snow leopard sound scheme. copied the sounds folders to windows\media...

    and i also want that when i am pressing the volume up/down on the keyboard i will make sound not just from the volume bar. is it possible ?

    I'm not sure if it's possible but that depends also what kind of audio card do you have sometimes with the small program that comes whit your audio card can do this please specify your audio card.If not you cold give it a try to Stardock's soundpackager that should do it ;)

    conexant 20671 smartaudio hd...i'll give the program suggest a try.
    and where should i look for this option in the soundcard config?

    i am thinking it is more related to registry...

    For that kind of sound card have no ideea never had one but try the software from stardock whit that one you can do your thing 100% :cool:
