Use RivaTuner 2.24, it's the latest version. The guide hasn't been updated to include the latest version number. All the other steps are the same. Enjoy :)

    thanks for that.....
One strange thing is when i go to choice customize on the main page it only shows three options all to do with display, im not sure why this is do you think it has to do with my ATI HD3670 gpu? So the only steps i can actually complete are setting to run in windows and sending to tray....hmmm very confusing
any suggestions would be most welcome thanks

Ok so ill give you some more info.....
When going to customise tab in main window the 3 options i have are...
1: low level refresh rate settings
2: low level desktop xolor schemes
    3: graphics sub-system diagnostic report
there are no other options avialible to me, it says ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3670/ Generic PnP Monitor above the customize tab and says No additional information availible in the tab next to the customize button.

id love it if someone could spnd the time to help me get it up and runningas ive been trying and tying to no avial, also it installed a different program called rivertuner statisticserver v3.1.1 is that something i need to be playing with lol anyway thanks a lot for any help offered
    takecare

thanks for the link.....speedfan isnt quite what im after though.

that rivertuner seemed ideal but alas i still cant work out why i dont have all the options in the customize area, is there a simular program around that will allow me to monitor fps and or heat while in game allowing me to see the data as i play? As it looks as though rivertuner doesnt like my gpu or something......quite possibly user error though.
Anyway thanks for any advice, takecare
