If you're an Office 365 subscriber, Microsoft has just increased the amount of OneDrive storage available to you to unlimited. If OneDrive didn't meet your needs for other reasons, then this is nothing to get excited about, except maybe the fact that other cloud storage providers might sweeten the pot on their own as well following this announcement.
Honestly, I have no idea what someone would do with that much storage (as if 1 TB wasn't already a ton of storage). Well, I guess anyone could put their entire media libraries on the cloud now.
In my opinions, this can make Office 365 University a pretty sweet deal for students, given that it's 80$ for a 4 years subscription.
Anyways, here's the source for the info: Microsoft ditches OneDrive storage limits entirely for Office 365 users | Ars Technica

Wow.
For non students, an Office 365 Home subscription (5 Office desktop and 5 mobile licenses) is only $63 and change from Amazon. -
That said, this is pretty cool, and I might consider buying (through amazon) so I can stop RDP'ing just to open an excel or word doc. Thanks!

New nest for sharing unlimited pirated material? It was Google doc but that wasn't a real cloud drive.

I would read the fine print and make sure they don't restrict certain files like exe's and iso's. Microsoft is just opening themselves up to government intervention though and likely be asked to police the content on the storage. I haven't used Microsoft's storage service much but last I knew it wasn't as flexible as something like Dropbox, granted Dropbox is a measly couple GB (I'm up to 5.5 GB).

Take for example my music collection, how would Microsoft know if I really bought these MP3s or they were backed up from an original CD?! -

So wait, storing music is fine? That would definitely make it easier managing music between my two devices.

So now I can encrypt and backup my entire home server, all 6 TB worth and no restrictions? Sounds too good to be true.

However can someone confirm that the key card / code is not region locked in any way? I know it shouldn't be but... murphy's law.
I do have a colleague living in NY at the moment and all I need is the code -

Guys lemme ask you this, I know that Office 360 let's you use it on 5 devices. Let's say I upload all my data on my computer. Other users who use my key cannot access that data as well right it's tied to their Microsoft ID/Account -
